Sweet vanilla and orchard fruits – typical Glenmorangie Westport. Quite sweet but not overwhelmingly so, this is balanced by a subtle zestiness in the palate and dryness in the finish. This reminds me a lot of some natural Balblairs, as well as the Glenmorangie 10 – with a few more years in the cask. Perhaps not the most memorable whisky, but flawless and tasty.
Score: 86/100
